Meet Lenore Solis. Local business owner, former Neighborhood Council board member and the Republican candidate for the 28th U.S. Congressional District.
This June 7th Atwater Village voters, along with other constituents in the 28th U.S. Congressional District, will narrow the field of candidates in an open primary before the November 8th general election. Atwater has its very own “villager”, Lenore Solis, running against incumbent Adam Schiff (Democrat) and fellow challenger Sal Genovese (Democrat). All voters, regardless of their party affiliation, can take part in an open primary and may cast votes on a ballot of any candidate. (Click here to find your polling place)
